CE MARKING
Brican Fabrications has CE Marking Compliance with certification to BS EN 1090-1 and 2 – Execution Class 2. Legislation incorporated on 1st July 2014 means that all fabricated structural steelwork must meet the European standard BS EN 1090 and carry the CE mark. We have invested heavily in both personnel and quality control systems to ensure that we achieved certification, which is determined by an independent assessment by an external body.
CE marking is now a mandatory requirement for fabricators to demonstrate that their internal training, qualifications and quality control procedures meet the necessary standards. We have been accredited to execution class 2, which allows it to fabricate the vast majority of steel structures. The certification provides evidence of a suitable Factory Production Control, which ensures traceability of every component from the source through the fabrication process to final delivery to site.
ISO 9001 International Quality Management Standard
Brican Fabrications are certified to ISO 9001 standards; this specifies requirements for a quality management system. From this, we are able to demonstrate our ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
SAFECONTRACTOR
Brican Fabrications are accredited to the SafeContractor scheme. This scheme provides a health and safety audit service for our business, tailored to our specific trade, to reassure our clients that health and safety are being handled correctly and sufficiently on our working sites by annually reviewing the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation.
CONSTRUCTIONLINE
Brican fabrications are accredited to the Constructionline scheme which is a register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants used by the construction industry of the United Kingdom. It is the UK’s largest Government-owned register of contractors and consultants for the construction industry. Our accreditation means our customers can have the confidence that we have been vetted and have met all of the pre-qualification requirements appropriate to public and private sector procurement. This accreditation looks at a range of aspects of your business from financials, to operational processes, i.e. health & safety. It looks at compliance issues, which apply to the work you undertake.
